A bit more info on the pairing of tea and chocolate:
The term "maridar" is derived from the Latin "maritare" and means "to marry or unite in marriage, to unite or to bind", hence this word is used to refer to the perfect union of a drink and a food. The pairing can greatly improve the experience of tasting a dish.
Tea can be paired with many foods, sweet or savory, as it is a nuanced drink, for each meal there is a variety of tea that comes better than another.
Chocolate is one of the foods that combines perfectly with tea, in its pure form or blend. With this pairing, we try to achieve balance at times, and in others elevate flavors, preventing chocolate from minimizing the delicacy of tea, but also complement and improve the sensory appreciation of both foods.
When tea pairing is well achieved, you feel a sensory harmony that brings pleasure, this we want our friends to enjoy in this event. We will delight ourselves with bitter, sweet, black and white chocolates that combine perfectly with black and green teas.
It will be paired with 3 types of teas and chocolates, which will be accompanied by two sandwiches of salt.
